The medallion bears the name of Salustius Autor. On the reverse three individuals are depicted, probably actors in a theatrical scene. The central figure holds a small pipe instrument in his left hand, interpreted by Sabatier as an organ. The instrument has 5 pipes, held at mid-height by a transverse bar but without a wind chest. The attitude of the figures suggests that the instrument was light. On the reverse the words “PETRONI PLACEAS” appear arranged in a circle, probably a votive formula.
