On the right margin of this illuminated page, within an elegant circular medallion, two angels are depicted seated on the ground in a moment of musical contemplation; one of them is caught in the act of playing a small portable organ. The entire marginal decoration develops through refined floral motifs and vine-tendril volutes, which harmoniously frame the sacred text. The latter contains the opening verse of Lauds, taken from the Office of the Hours of the Virgin.
