The initial letters “C” and “P,” marking the different readings for Sexagesima Sunday, contain within them small portraits of men with hats. The margins of the page are finely decorated on three sides with foliage and flower scrolls, populated by various figures: at the top, an angel emerges halfway from a cloud playing a trumpet; on the left, among the foliage, the bust of a man appears flanked by two angels, one of whom is kneeling and playing a small portable organ, while the other is caught in the gesture of gesticulating. Other male faces with berets and hats appear here and there among the plant decorations, completing the ornamentation of the page.
